Material Types
Kraft Paper: High strength, tear-resistant, suitable for heavy-duty packaging, such as shoe boxes and electronic product packaging.
White Cardboard: Smooth surface, good printing effect, suitable for high-end gift boxes or food packaging.
Laminated Paper: Water and oil resistant, commonly used in food packaging (such as hamburger wrappers and coffee cup liners).
Recycled Paper: Environmentally friendly first choice, lower cost, but slightly inferior in strength and color.
Weight selection
Light packaging (e.g., clothing filling paper): 60-100g/㎡.
Medium packaging (e.g., shoe boxes): 120-200g/㎡.
Heavy packaging (e.g., industrial parts): 200-400g/㎡.
Environmental certification
Prioritize FSC certification or biodegradable materials, especially for exports to European and American markets, which must comply with RoHS/REACH standards.
Printability
The ink absorption of the paper needs to be confirmed (e.g., offset paper is suitable for color printing) to avoid smudging or color difference.
Special requirements
Food contact requires FDA certification; electronic product packaging may require an anti-static coating.
